Today, Dr. Pettit, Mr. Dorazio, my administrative team, members from Old Dominion Insurance and Investments, and I had the distinct honor to present Mr. Richard Dye with a certificate and balloons as being chosen as the LCMS Educator of the Year. He, along, the other teachers will receive a more formal ceremony on Thursday, May 7. Again, congratulations to Mr. Dye for all of his good, hard work with our students and for his innovative programming that he has brought to our students throughout time.
Furthermore, on Tuesday, March 24, LCMS will be hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences. Scheduled appointments with teachers will be from 3:40 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. Walk in appointments will occur with teachers from 5:40 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. The library will also be hosting a book fair during Parent Teacher Conferences.
Additionally, the PTA is hosting a flower fundraiser. Flowers will be delivered right before Mother's Day! All order forms must be turned in by Monday, April 13 to your child's fourth period homeroom teacher.
Finally to all grade 8 students and their families, please remember that forms to attend the LCMS Transition Night on Wednesday, April 15 are due to your fourth period teacher by this Thursday, March 26. If you need another copy of the form, please see Jennifer Purcell.
