A reminder that parent teacher conferences are on Thursday, January 14. If you are interested in setting up a 15 minute appointment with your teacher from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. please email or contact your teacher. Walk-ins are from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. that night. Please note that teachers will be unavailable until 3:30 p.m. as they are finishing up with their day. Should you arrive between 3:09 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. please feel free to join me in the cafeteria!
Further, your child will be bringing home today another copy of his or her report card. Your child’s grades on the first copy of the report card were accurate. However, due to a slight glitch in PowerSchool, we noticed that teacher comments for Marking Period 1 were put in place as opposed to teacher comments for Marking Period 2. This has now been fixed on PowerSchool. Thus, the newly printed out report cards reflect the correct teachers’ comments for Marking Period 2. Please note that if your child brings home the exact same report card, that is also correct. Not all teachers made comments for students. We just wanted to ensure that you and your child received the most accurate teacher comments.
Finally, please note that your child’s report card also contains a column for “absences” and “tardies” for each period. If your child had to leave early from class, the “leave early’s” were also rolled into the tardy column.
